Husbandry

Crested Geckos require at least a 12"x12"x18" enclosure as an adult, but geckos below 10g can be housed in a small critter keeper. Both can be found at chain pet stores such as PetCo or PetSmart or on Amazon. For substrate I suggest paper towels when you first receive your gecko to make sure that they are eating, once you are sure that they are eating you can move geckos larger than 10g onto cocohusk or a similar substrate that your gecko cannot ingest. Crested geckos thrive in temperatures from 70-79 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything above or below that range can possibly harm your gecko. Crested Geckos prefer their humidity to be 60% during the day and 80% at night. This can be achieved with daily misting. Having plenty of plants and sticks (Washed or purchased from a pet store)  is a must, they love to climb and without stuff to wrap their tail around they can develop Floppy Tail Syndrome (FTS). Crested geckos like to feel secure so be sure to include a hide in their enclosure, many people use coconut shell hides purchased from amazon or etsy.

Diet

Crested Geckos can eat a variety of insects including mealworms and crickets. Insects are suggested but not required. If you are feeding your gecko insects, do so three or so days a week. As a main diet, your geckos will require a crested gecko diet such as Repashy, which can be found at most pet stores, or Pangea, which can be found on their website (Pangeareptile.com). Your geckos do not require a water bowl, they prefer to drink of the leaves of the plants in their enclosure so misting daily is a must.
